Our History
Tanganyika Universal Transport Limited (T.U.T LTD) is a third generation family owned business based in Arusha Tanzania. The family Business started off from the timber trade and bespoke furniture making industry, originally known as Tanganyika Furniture House which began in 1975. However in 1985 the company broadened its scope by expanding into Transportation and large scale Farming.
Our journey into transportation started with an only two aggregate tipper trucks and led its way into expanding by buying two Semi trailer trucks. We are proud to say that the company has expanded rapidly since and managed to acquire a large fleet of high quality, reliable and well maintained trucks.
The TUTLTD transportation operations are managed by highly qualified and experienced staff from our head office in Arusha Tanzania and our branch office in the commercial capital Dar es Salaam Tanzania. The company is well established and is well recognized by both Transportation Association of Tanzania (TAT) & Tanzania Truck Owners Association (TATOA). Additionally, we are also authorized under the Government Chemist Laboratory Authority (GCLA) by transport chemical products.
